WR 512 - Current Composition Theory

This graduate seminar in current composition theory introduces students to current theories, practices, and principles of composition as a field of academic inquiry.

My section capitalizes on composition and rhetoric's rich history in transdisciplinary cross-talk by having students compose their weekly responses through the semi-public newsletter platform TinyLetter. Students also listen to composition and rhetoric podcasts such as Rhetcast and The Big Rhetorical Podcast to get a sense of current conversations in the field and to prepare two vlogs of their own engaging in cross-talk.
